Naukas, one of the best-known science communication platforms in the Spanish-speaking world, will hold its first event in Seville on Saturday, 10 October. Researchers and communicators will meet at the Teatro Central around one question: how science and art can talk to each other.1
The day is split into two sessions, from 10:00 to 13:30 and from 17:00 to 20:00. Entry is free until the theatre is full. It is also the first event Naukas has organised in a city in the south of Spain, after years of activities elsewhere in the country.1
Short talks, not lectures
Organisers say the format avoids traditional academic conferences. The programme is made up of ten talks of 25 minutes each, written for audiences without a scientific background.1
